Hi, I’m Timi.

Before Pilates, I worked for many years in corporate management and product roles. Long hours, a lot of responsibility, and (like for many people) a lot of time sitting in front of a laptop.

I actually cared about my work and I still respect that kind of drive and ambition. But over time I also started to notice what that lifestyle was doing to my body.

Rounded shoulders from sitting all day.
Forward head posture.
Constant tension in my neck and upper back.
A core that felt weak even though I was exercising.

Nothing dramatic — just the small things that slowly add up when your body spends most of the day at a desk.

Pilates came into my life during that time and it immediately made sense to me. It had structure, clear principles, and a level of precision that I hadn’t experienced in other types of training. More importantly, it made me feel better in my body in a very practical way.

Over time it became more than something I did for myself. I got curious about how it works, why it works, and how to do it properly.

Outside the studio I’m usually practicing myself, studying something related to movement, planning small weekend trips, or walking my dog, Zoé somewhere around Luxembourg.

I strongly believe in the original Pilates principles:

Flow

Centering

Concentration

Precision

Breathing

Control

My approach in a personal Pilates session

What I like about Pilates is that it’s not random. It’s a system with clear foundations — breathing, control, centering, precision, flow. When those are actually applied, movement starts to feel very different.

That’s what I try to bring into my sessions.

I pay a lot of attention to the small details: how you place your feet, where your shoulders sit, how you breathe, how one movement connects to the next. These things might seem minor, but they make a big difference in how the body responds.

In group classes, there is only so much individual correction a teacher can give while guiding the whole room. That’s why private sessions can be so powerful.

In a one-to-one setting we can slow down, observe how your body moves, and focus on what you specifically need.

  • If your shoulders are constantly rounding forward from desk work, we can spend time rebuilding posture and opening the upper back.

  • If your lower back tends to take over, we can work on reconnecting the deep core muscles that support the spine.

  • If something feels tight, unstable, or simply “not quite right,” we can adjust the exercises until they actually help.

That level of refinement just isn’t possible in the same way in a group class.

I’m a certified Balanced Body® instructor and currently continuing my education through the comprehensive certification. Learning and improving as a teacher is something I take seriously — and I genuinely enjoy the process of getting better, little by little.
